What is the status of Airfix (the maker of plastic model kits)?

I heard that another company bought it in the fall of 2006. Are any Airfix models being produced now? I used to collect them (mostly 1/72 scale model planes, also tanks).

They actually didn't go out of business. When i went to their website, it said welcome to the NEW Airfix. I don't know what that means, but i assure you, they didn't go out of business.

i model build much myself, but i usually dont use airfix

go to ur local hooby shop to verify if they r making anything new!
